::Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery--Bakersfield CA

Joel Earl Mills 

Services: Thurs., Aug. 23, 9:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held 
in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., Thursday, 
August 23 at 9:30 a.m. for Joel Earl Mills, 53, who passed away 
August 18, 2001 in Bakersfield. Rev. Gloria Hutchins will officiate. 
Joel was born February 23, 1948 in Ringold, Oklahoma and had resided 
in Kern County since 1957. He was co-owner/Operator of J&L 
Automotive for 18 years. Joel is survived by his wife, Joy F. Mills 
of Bakersfield; daughter, Kelsee Mills; son, Justin Mills, both of 
Twin Oaks; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Rita Mills of 
Bakersfield and Curtis and Cindy Mills of Nipomo; sisters and 
brothes-in-law, Brookie and Larry Embry, and Billie and Ted Schultz, 
all of Bakersfield; and many nieces and nephews. No public visitation
