Monk Dated: Saturday, October 27, 1951 Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette, Idabel, Oklahoma Heart Attack Is Fatal For George F. Monk George Franklin Monk, 69, Mount Zion, died of a heart attack about 1 p. m. Thursday while loading firewood on his pickup at the Millerton Lumber Mill. Born in MIssouri March 10, 1882, he had resided in this county for the past 58 years, moving from Texas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Assembly of God Church Funeral services have been set for 2 p. m. today at the Valliant Assembly of God church with Rev. Stevens officiating. Arrangements and burial in Valliant cemetery are under direction of Wilson Funeral home. He is survived by his widow; one son, George F. Monk, Jr., Mount Zion; three daughters, Mrs. H. C. Baker and Mrs. Earl Mooney, both of Mount Zion, and Mrs. J. H. Kilmer, Alva; one brother, William M.
