Dessie Mae Mooney

DESSIE MOONEY 

Dessie May Mooney, 72, Idabel, died Friday (December 31, 1982) at Oak 
Grove Nursing Home. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. today (Sun. January 2, 1983) in the 
Leonard Funeral Chapel in Idabel with the Rev. David Bush 
officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wayne Thomas.  Burial will be in 
Wheelock Cemetery. 

Mooney was born March 8, 1910 in Valliant and was a lifelong resident 
of McCurtain County.  She was a housewife, and a member of the 
Baptist Church. 

Surviving are two sons, Jim Mooney of Idabel and Wayne Mooney of 
Broken Bow; two daughters, Della Patterson of Fulton, Mo., and Linda 
Shelton of Broken Bow; two sisters, Myrtle John and Essie Qualls, 
both of Idabel; one brother, Robert Bushers of Dallas, 10 
grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
