All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Wheelock Cemetery--Millerton OK Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette, Idabel, Oklahoma November, 1989 TARLIA ANN MOONEY Tarlia Ann Mooney of Valliant died Nov. 6, 1989 in McCurtain Memorial Hosiptal. She was 81. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at the First Assembly of God Church of Valliant with the Rev. Ralph Rooks officiating. Burial was in Wheelock Cemetery under the direction of Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home of Idabel. Born Sept. 23, 1908 in Albion, Texas to William M. and Tarlia A. Cogburn, Mrs. Mooney had lived in the Valliant area since 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Mooney. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Taylor of Swink and Sue Baker and Shirley Smith, both of Valliant; three sons, Ray Mooney of Idabel, Clark Mooney of Valliant and William 'Buck' Mooney of Yakima, Wash.; two sisters, Martha Williams of Mineola, Texas and Maude Robinette of Manchester, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 29 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Assembly of God of Valliant, with the Rev. Ralph rooks officiating.
