DOROTHY MOORE

Funeral services for former Hochatown resident Dorothy Lee Edwards 
Moore, 77, Sulphur Springs, Texas, were at 10 a.m. today in the 
Chapel of the Pines Church, Hochatown, with the Rev. Gregg Matlock 
officiating.  Burial was in Hochatown Cemetery under the direction of 
Jim Norwood Funeral Home.

Moore died Monday at her home in Sulpher Springs, Texas.  She was 
born July 9, 1926, in Alleene, Ark., the daughter of Bill and Grace 
Gillian Edwards.  She married Luther Dike Moore on May 24, 1950 in 
Ashdown, Ark. She was retired from the Oklahoma State Parks and 
Recreation Department and was a member of the Chapel of the Pines 
Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Moore, on Jan. 3, 
1999; by her parents, by her sons, Joe Eddie Moore, in 1992, and 
Michael Albert Moore, in 1984; and by one brother, Dwayne Edwards in 
1991.

Survivors include her grandsons, Michael Dennis Moore, Sulphur 
Springs, Texas; and Jeffery Dike Moore, Dallas, Texas; a sister Leoda 
Crawford, Lockesburg, Ark.; and four great-grandchildren.
