All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Resthaven Memory Gardens--OKC OK Moore, Orval Lindsay Orval Lindsay Moore, born March 4, 1927 in Bethel, OK to John and Bertha Moore, died April 3, 2003 in Oklahoma City. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from Aug. 1945 to Jan. 1947. Coming back from military service, he went to work at Tinker Field, eventually retiring from the FAA in 1979. After living in Bella Vista, AR for 14 years, he and wife, Mary Ellen, returned to Oklahoma City in 1996 to be near family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Tilman and Estol. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ellen; sons, Rick and wife Vickie, Bill and wife Donna; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Irma Patterson of Longview, WA and Jean Rakoz of Battle Ground, WA; three brothers, Garland of Plano, TX, Jay of Thayne, WY, and Dale of Lincoln, OR; three very special brothers-in-law and six very special sisters-in- law. He was always willing to lend a hand or a smile to a neighbor, friend, or relative. His family was always his priority. He was one of God's most special people. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 7, 2003 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
