OBITUARY: David L. Newman 

Date: in ink June 1970     

DAVID L. NEWMAN     

Services for David L. Newman, 77 of Wright City, was Thursday at 2 
p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Wright City, where he was a member.  
Rev. Charles Darland will officiate and Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo 
made burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow.      

Born Nov. 15, 1892, in Wills Point, Tex., David L. Newman died 
Wednesday morning in DeQueen General Hospital, Dequeen, Arkansas.  He 
h ad lived at Wright City 41 years.      

Immediate survivors are a son, David D. Newman, Wright City; a 
daughter, Mrs. Wilburn Stevenson, Broken Bow; and a stepson, Calvin 
Cannon, of Idabel; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren 
also survive.
