July 19, 1928

B.G. NEWSOM DIED NEAR FOREST HILL.

B.G. Newsom, aged 46 years, died Sunday, July 15th, at his home near Forest
Hill, with acute indigestion.  Mr. Newsom was a good citizen and only lived a
short time after taking ill.  Just a few weeks ago Mr. Newsom's daughter died.
The funeral services were held at Forest Hill Monday morning at 10:00,
conducted by Rev. H.W. Finney of Cisco, after which the remains were laid to
rest in the Forest Hill cemetery.
