All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Eagletown Cemetery--Eagletown OK McCurtain County Local Newspaper: 1925 Willie Nobles, 25 years of age, died Monday night, June 16th, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jordon Kemp at Eagletown. He was ill only 12 days with an attack of typhoid-pneumonia. Mr. Nobles was a nice young man, was reared in Idabel and at Eagletown. The family lived in Idabel several years ago, later moving to Eagletown. He was unmarried and is survived by one brother, Joe Nobles, of Dierks, Ark., who was with him during his illness, and two sisters, Mrs. Kemp, of Eagletown, with whom he was making his home, and Miss Mattie Nobles, of Los Angeles, Calif. Miss Mattie was unable to get here for the funeral but arrived a few days later. The remains were laid to rest on Tuesday afternoon at the Eagletown cemetery in the presence of a large crowd of relatives and friends.
