All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Denison Cemetery--Idabel OK McCurtain County Local Newspaper: Aug. 7, 1924 IDABEL CITIZEN DIED SATURDAY _________ WAS GOOD CITIZEN AND WAS ACTIVE IN THE EARLY LIFE OF IDABEL. N.P. Perrin, one of the pioneer citizens of Idabel, died at his home Saturday night following an illness extending over two weeks. Mr. Perrin was an old timer in Idabel, and was one of the first merchants to enter business there. He took an interest in the progress of the town when it was young and served as alderman in 1910. N.P. Perrin went to Idabel from the foothills of Arkansas, where he was born and where he grew to manhood. His life has been clean and a better citizen Idabel never had. He leaves a wife and several children, who sorrow for the passing of husband and father. Funeral services were conducted at the family home in Idabel at 5:00 Sunday afternoon by Rev. A.A. Puckett, of this city. Interment at Denison cemetery.
