::Bethel Cemetery--Bethel OK

McCurtain County Local Newspaper: 1990

PHILLIPS

Minda Adeline Phillips, 80, of Bethel died on Thursday, December 6th 
in Bethel.

Born June 24, 1910 in Pike County, Arkansas, Mrs. Phillips was a 
housewife and had lived in the Bethel Community all of her life.  She 
was a member of the Battiest Baptist Church.

She married Bud Phillips on June 20, 1926.  He preceded her in death 
on November 22, 1982.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. in 
the Battiest Baptist Church with Brother Jim Crawford officiating.  
Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Norwood 
Coffey, Leonard Funeral Home of Broken Bow.

Survivors are one son, Rev. Archie Phillips of Broken Bow; one 
daughter, Alta Warren of Bethel; one brother, Lesley Crain of 
Bokchito; three sisters, Virgie Easley of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, 
Linda Whitehead of Texarkana, Texas, and Florence Brown of Hope, 
Arkansas; seven grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and 
one sister-in-law, Effie Walston of Bethel.
