OBITUARY: Essie Qualls 

McCurtain Co, Oklahoma  news clipping dated in ink 1990      

QUALLS      

Essie Qualls, 80, of Idabel died Thursday, August 23 in McCurtain 
Memorial Hospital.      

Born March 10, 1910, she lived the community all of her life. She was 
married to Henry Qualls on October 12, 1929 at Idabel and was a 
member of the Central Baptist Church.      

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Bushers, in 1975.      

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 25 in Norwood-Coffey-
Leonard Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dan Williams officiating and 
Joe Clardy assisting.  Burial was in the Denison Cemetery under the 
direction of Norwood-Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home of Idabel.      

Survivors are her husband, Henry Qualls of Idabel; one brother, 
Robert Bushers of Idabel; one sister, Mrytle John of Idabel; many 
nieces and nephews.
