McCurtain County Local Newspaper: Dec. 22, 1927

HOYT REED, AGED THREE, DIED WEDNESDAY MORNING

Hoyt Reed, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Reed, of Wright 
City, died Wednesday morning at 7:15, after an illness of several 
days with diphtheria.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Honeycutt, pastor 
of the Wright City Methodist church, this afternoon.  Burial will 
follow in the cemetery there.

Mrs. and Mrs. Reed have the sympathy of a host of friends in their 
great loss.
