All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Norah Kathryn (Kathy) Reynolds Oct. 16, 1936 - Sep. 28, 2009 Norah "Kathy" Kathryn Reynolds, age 72, of Sweet Home passed away Monday at her home. She was born October 16, 1936 in Wright City, Oklahoma; the 4th of nine children. Kathy moved with her parents Guy and Gladys (Igo) Honeywell to Sweet Home Oregon in 1947. Nicknamed Honey, she rarely used the name Norah or the original pronunciation of KATHREEN. Kathy graduated from Sweet Home Union High School in 1955 and began her training in cosmetology. Her life's work blessed Sweet Home in the beauty department for many years. Married to Ervin Reynolds on Dec. 5, 1958, they celebrated their 50th anniversary with friends at home. Kathy and Erv wintered in Arizona for several years after retirement in 1991. Kathy had a very pleasant personality and her happy smile will be missed there. As a committed Christian and a member of Sweet Home Assembly of God Church, Kathy served for many years in a variety of ministries. One of her strongest life convictions was to live a Christian life and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those near her. She had the joy of encouraging many people to believe in their heart and say with their mouth that Jesus is the son of God, and that God raised him from the dead, giving people God's gift of eternal life. Kathy is survived by husband, Erv Reynolds; sons, Mark Reynolds of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Brian Reynolds of Honolulu, Hawaii; sisters, Venita Stevenson, Darlene Gaskey, and Peggy Honeywell; brother, Fred Honeywell; and grandchildren, Mitchell, Kristen, Andrew, Kelsey, James, and Timothy. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Sweet Home Assembly of God. Memorial contributions can be made in Kathy's name to the Sweet Home Assembly of God. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to McCurtain Archives http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/mccurtain/mccurtai.htm
