All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Williamston Cemetery--Idabel Ok McCurtain County Paper July 27, 2000 Burnett Rhynes Memorial services for Burnett Giddens Rhynes, 53, Idabel, were be at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Temple and Sons Funeral Chapel, Oklahoma City. A funeral service will be at 1p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Westside, ldabel. Burial will be in Williamston Cemetery, Idabel, under the direction Baker Funeral Home, ldabel. Rhynes died Thursday at Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Idabel, the daughter of Willie and Lettie Giddens. Rhynes was a member of First Baptist Church Westside. She began her education at Stater Rosenwald and was a 1966 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She married Charles Rhynes. Rhynes was preceded in death by her mother, Lettie Giddens, and by three nephews and two nieces. Survivors include two sons, Leonard Giddens, Oklahoma City; and Patrick (Shelly) Rhynes, Waco, Texas; her father, Willie Giddens, Idabel; eight brothers, Clernmie and Martin, both of Idabel; Donald, Valliant;. Willie B., Broken Bow; Wash, San Diego, Calif., and Dennis, Charles, and Michael, all of Oklahoma City; six sisters, Velma Mosely, Zelma Polk, Esther Johnson and Annie Asare, all of Oklahoma City; Dorothy Giddens, Kansas City, Kan., Elma Smith, Idabel; and one grandson.
