H.A. RIGGS DIED FRIDAY NIGHT. Mrs. H.A. Riggs, age 69 years, one of the city's best known elderly ladies, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Bunch here Friday night at eleven o'clock, after a lingering illness of leakage of the heart. Funeral services were held at the Bunch home Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Ogle, paster of the First Methodist church of Wright City and burial was had in the Broken Bow cemetery Sunday morning. Deceased, who had lived in this city since the town of Broken Bow was started seventeen years ago, was a splendid lady of the old type of Southern gentlewomen whose life's pleasures were gained through service to others, and was known and loved wherever she went for her many acts of kindness. She is survived by her husband; two sons and three daughters, as follows: Hamond Riggs, Drumright; Gus Riggs, Mountain Pine, Arkansas; Mrs. A.M. Bunch and Mrs. O.H. Kizer, Broken Bow, and Mrs. C.D. Dodson, Wright City. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. John Pride, of Horatio, Arkansas.
