Obituary: Unknown Paper 

Roberts Rites Set Friday

Hubert E Roberts , 77, Millerton  died Wednesday, Nov. 1,2000, at 
Millerton. He was born Feb.16,1923 at Valliant.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Spirit Rock 
Church, Millerton with Rev. Troy RUFFIN officiating. Burial will 
follow in Wheelock Cemetery, Millerton.

Hubert E. ROBERTS had lived in McCurtain County his entire life. He 
was affiliated withthe Spirit Rock Church and was a retired 
Weyerhaeuser employee. He and Ludie Mae ROBERTS were married July 
17,1943, at Cisco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.H. and Vesta ROBERTS; two 
sons, Hubert Alvin ROBERTS and George Ray ROBERTS; and  two brothers. 
Dillard ROBERTS and James ROBERTS.   

Survivors include his wife, Ludie Mae ROBERTS, Millerton; four sons, 
Elvin M ROBERTS and wife, Sharon, and Bill ROBERTS and wife, Doris, 
all of Wright City, James ROBERTS and wife, Sandra, Valliant and 
Kenneth ROBERTS and wife, Earnestine, Millerton; two daughters, Debra 
SMITH and husband, Reggie, Garvin, and  Regina CAPPS and husband 
Jimmy, Valliant; four brothers, Delbert ROBERTS and wife, 
Charlene,Wilbert ROBERTS and wife Lucille and Clarence ROBERTS and 
wife, Zane , all of Wright City,and Lloyd ROBERTS and wife Cherio, 
Golden; one sister, Ann Lois DELOZIER and husband, Thomas, Battiest; 
and 14 grand-children and 23 great-grandchildren.
