A. RODEN SUCCUMBS Funeral services for W.A. Roden, who died at his home a few miles northwest of Broken Bow in the Sweet Home community, Tuesday, February 7, were held at Holly Creek school house Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. W.R. Merry of Garvin officiating. Burial was in Holly Creek cemetery. Mr. Roden was past 60 years of age and had made his home in McCurtain county several years. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Ruel and Rushing Roden of Broken Bow, Guy Roden of Estancia, New Mexico, and Walker Roden of Amarillo, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. O.J. Plunkett and Mrs. Earl Currence, both of Broken Bow and two step-children, Eugene Mayfield and Mrs. Bray, also of Broken Bow; three sisters, Mrs. A. Vandzandt of Gillham, Ark., Mrs. Bob Burkett of California and Mrs. W.R. Richardson of Broken Bow; two brothers, A.F. Roden of Gillham, Ark., and Aaron Roden of Lamar, Okla.
