Roden Dated: Wednesday June 29, 1949 Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette Idabel, Oklahoma p.5 col 6 = William G. Roden Dies Saturday After Long Illness = William G. Roden, 55, Glover, died at the McKinney Veterans hospital at 11:30 a.m. Saturday following a long illness. He had been in the hospital for the past week. Born March 10, 1894, at Hochatown, he had resided most of his life in the county. He had been at Glover for the past three months, moving from Eagletown. He was a farmer and a veteran of the army in World War l. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Hochatown community building. Arrangements and burial in Hochatown cemetery were under direction of Wilson funeral home. He is survived by his widow; mother, Mrs. Lou Deema Roden, Hochatown; three step-sons, M. O. Perry and D. W. Perry, both of Hochatown, and J. B.
