::Crown Hill Cemetery--Broken Bow OK

McCurtain County Local Newspaper: December 8, 1932

MRS. C.B. ROUNTREE PASSED AWAY

Mrs. C.B. Rountree, age 63, passed away Thursday morning, December 1, 
1932, at her home in Broken Bow.  Her health had been bad only a 
short time before her death.

Mrs. Rountree was a native of North Carolina.  She and her husband 
and family came here about fourteen years ago from Okmulgee, Okla.  
Her husband, R.R. Rountree died about three years ago. 

Funeral services were held at the Baptist cemetery (Crown Hill) 
Sunday, December 4, by the Rev. S.T. Clouse of Golden, Okla.  Burial 
by the Skaggs Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Rountree is survived by three sons, Lester and Fred of Broken 
Bow and John of Auxvasse, Mo., two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Douthit of 
Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. N.E. Summers of Douglas, Arizona.

All of the children attended the funeral.

(NOTE:  This Newspaper obituary mistakenly shows Rountree as 
Roundtree).
