Obituary: Willie Saddler Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette Idabel, McCurtain County, Oklahoma p.6 col.2 Dated: Friday March 29, 1974 SADDLER SERVICE IS HELD Willie Saddler, retired farmer, died March 23 at the V.A. hospital in Muskogee. He was born in Franklin, Texas and moved to Idabel in his younger years. Survivors include his wife, Dora Lee, three sons, Willie Saddler, Jr., Alvin Saddler, Morgan Saddler and step-son, Ennish Gills. Also surviving are four daughters, Willie Mae Polite, Ladora Saddler, Mrs. Gravel S. Washington and Mrs. Lillie Mae Raiford, 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He had one sister, Claudia Booker of Altus. Services were set for 2 p.m. today at the Plainview Baptist church with the Rev. J. S. Warren officiating.
