All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Frederick Memorial Cemetery--Frederick OK Lawton Constitution 20 Nov 2003 Joe Ella Hicks Saenz FREDERICK — Funeral for Joe Ella Hicks Saenz, 54, Frederick, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Billy, youth pastor, Walters First Baptist Church, officiating. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Sylvester Amos, Hobart, officiating. Mrs. Saenz died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at a Lawton hospital. Burial will be at Frederick Memorial Cemetery. She was born Jan. 6, 1949, in Watson to Jefferson G. and Lorancie LeFlore Hicks. She lived in Watson until moving to Frederick at the age of 5. She attended Frederick schools, and married Benny Leyja. She later married Jerry Henry Sr. She worked as a seamstress for more than 30 years. She worked at several places including Frybrant, Central Leather Goods and Show String Embroidery. She was a member of the Apostalic Faith Church, which her father helped build. Survivors include three daughters: Mary Klippstein and her husband, Perry, Houston; Ann Leyja and Cindy Burleson and her husband Joe, all of Frederick; three sons: Jerry Henry Jr. and his wife, Lesley, Newport News, Va.; Joe Allen Henry, Frederick; and Randell Wayne Henry, Seminole; a special friend and companion, Mercy Flores, Frederick; a brother, Eddie Joel Hicks, Frederick; two sisters: Vera Hudson and her husband, Cordell, and Ann Fobb, both of Frederick; 11 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joe Ray Hicks Sr.; and a sister, Pearlene Osborn.
