Obituary: Grace Settles, 1918 - 2006

Funeral Services for Grace Settles, 87, Valliant, will be held at 
2:00 p.m. 

Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel - 
Valliant, Oklahoma               

SETTLES RITES SET THURSDAY  

Grace Settles, 87, Valliant, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2006, 
in Paris, Texas. She was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Valliant, the 
daughter of Walter Collins and Barbara (Honeywell) Collins.  She was 
a lifetime resident of Valliant, and was of the Baptist faith.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Settles; and her 
son, Gary Settles.  

Survivors include two sisters, Mildred Correll of Ringold and Bobbie 
Moody of California; two granddaughters, and two great 
granddaughters.  

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 
2006, at the funeral Home.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday April 20, 2006, at the 
Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel with Bro. Aaron Strange officiating. 
Interment will follow at the Wheelock Cemetery in Millerton.  

Services are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home, 
Valliant.
