Georgia Settles, 1926 - 2006     

Georgia Lee Settles, 80, of Garvin, Okla.  passed away February 13, 
2006 at Paris, Tx. She was born January 20, 1926 near Garvin, Okla to 
Florence and George Hallum. She loved working in her garden, fishing, 
and spending time with her family and friends.     

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Settles, her mother 
and father, Florence and George Hallum, and her sister, Myrtle 
McCleskey.     

She is survived by five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Alice and 
Eddie Hancock of Lubbock, TX, Betty and Merril Bunn of Garvin, Okla., 
Eva and Lloyd Murphy of Garvin, Okla., Lorene Austin of Idabel, Okla. 
and Nellie McCleskey of Paris, TX., two brothers and one sister-in-
law, Charlie and Minnie Hallum of Garvin, Okla., and Earnest Hallum 
of Garvin, Okla. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.     

Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Norwood 
Chapel with Brother Jim Mashburn and Brother Dick Logan presiding. 
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.     

Visitation is scheduled tonight, February 14, at the funeral home 
from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
