Juber Settles

Obituary: SETTLES SERVICES SET THURSDAY  

Juber Settles, 93, of Valliant, died Sunday in Valliant, He was born 
August 3, 1903 in Garvin.  

Settles was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was a retired 
mill worker and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by 
his parents, Robert and Lovie 'Bunch' Settles and several brothers 
and sisters.  

Survivors include several nephews; including Warren and Leonard 
Wooten of Garvin; several nieces including Haven Jo Campbell of 
Idabel; and a sister in law Grace Settles of Valliant.  

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 pm at Garvin Cemetery 
with Joe Clardy officiating.
