Shaw, Marilyn Sue

Shaw, Marilyn Sue, of Huntington Beach, CA, went to be with the Lord 
on November 19, 2006 after a 19 month courageous battle with cancer 
and her family at her side. She was born in Carl Junction, MO on 
April 7th, 1944. She was preceded in death by an infant brother March 
23, 1942. She married Larry Shaw of Galena, KS in February, 1959 and 
he survives her. Marilyn raised her children in Broken Arrow, OK 
before moving to California. With her children grown, Marilyn devoted 
her caring heart to many activities. She served in all executive 
offices including president of Huntington Harbour Newcomers and 
various positions of Huntington Harbour Philharmonic. She was active 
in her church, participated in the clean up 9-11, and 3 fires in 
Arizona and New Mexico. She is survived by her parents; three 
children; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral 
services were held at Shoreline Baptist Church.
