All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Denison Cemetery--Idabel OK McCurtain County Local Newspaper: July 10, 1930 A PROMINENT CITIZEN PASSED AWAY A.D. Sherrill, aged 51 years, died at the family home here on Friday afternoon, July Fourth, about 5:45, having suffered a stroke of paralysis on Wednesday night of the same week. Although Mr. Sherrill had been in failing health the past ten months he had been able to be at his place of business, Sherrills' Pharmacy most of the time. Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist church Sunday after- noon at 2:30 by Rev. M.S. Peek, pastor of the First Christian church of Broken Bow, assisted by the pastors of the other churches of this city, after which the remains were taken to the Denison Cemetery, two miles east of Idabel for interment. Rev. Mr. Peek, a personal friend of the deceased, paid a fitting service. Mr. Sherrill is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. B.E. Davis, Eufaula, and Mrs. Mason Touchstone, of Broken Bow; one son, Albert Sherrill, Jr., Broken Bow; mother, Mrs. Nancy Sherrill Davis, Broken Bow; two brothers, Dr. R.H. Sherrill, Broken Bow, and T.L.
