Elonia Sims

PERRYTON - Elonia Sims, 84, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1996.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in First Christian Church with the 
Rev. Roy King, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree 
Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., of Perryton.

Mrs. Sims was born in Idabell, Okla. She had lived in Gray, Okla., 
from 1941 to 1976, when she moved to Perryton. She married John 
Dwight Sims in 1931 at Hugo, Okla.; he died in 1984. She was a 
homemaker and a past member of Sorosis Club, Perryton Art Alliance 
and First Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Jim Sims of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Joan 
Bell of Stratford; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Perryton Memorial Library or a 
favorite charity.
