Clipping LIZZIE SMITH Lizzie Bell Smith, 92, of Smithville, Okla., died Monday, Sept. 26, 1994, in the Mena Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 26 1994, in the Zafra Church of Christ, with Bro. Riley Donica officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Geyer-Quillin Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 30, 1901, in Hugo, Okla. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Green Winfield Young and the late Mrs. Madie Neighbors Young. She was married to Mr. James Oscar Smith on Dec. 30, 1917. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are: two sons: Homer Smith, Smithville, Okla., and Elvis "Jack" Smith, Hatfield, Ark.; four daughters: Lillie Ahern and Martha Caldwell, both of Dallas, Texas, Minnie Thornnell, Texarkana, Ark., and Mary Urbanek, Tampa, Florida; one half-sister: Tima Smith; and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers were Coy Fairless, Clifford Johnston, Garland Owen, Quinton Owen, Gerald Stinson and Charlie Fairless. Owen should be Owens in their last names of Garland and Quinton.
