::Crown Hill Cemetery--Broken Bow OK

McCurtain County Local Newspaper:

December 10, 1931

S. L. SNIDER DIED SUNDAY MORNING

S.L. Snider, aged 47 years, died at his home two miles east of Broken Bow
Sunday morning about 10:30 o'clock after only a few days illness with
influenza and pneumonia.

Funeral services were held at the family residence Monday morning at 10:30
o'clock, being conducted by Revs. A.R. Luton, W.M. Batton, R.H. Sneed and
Dick Moore, local ministers.  Burial followed in the Crown Hill cemetery 
here.

Mr. Snider is survived by his wife and three children, Austin Snider, Miss
Florence Snider, and Miss Millie Snider, all of this city, who have the
sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

Mr. Snider was employed at L.B. Whitfield's grocery store at the time of 
his death, and was well known, having made his home in Broken Bow the last
six years.
