McCurtain County Local Newspaper: May 17, 1928

MISS NANNIE MAUD TAYLOR DIED AT VALLIANT THURSDAY.

Miss Nannie Maud Taylor, 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alf 
Taylor, of Valliant, died last Thursday morning, following only a few 
days illness with influenza.  Funeral services were held at Valliant 
last Friday afternoon and burial followed in the City Cemetery there.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor have the sympathy of many friends over the loss 
of their bright little girl.  She was their only child.
