All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery--Bakersfield CA Waters, Louis Phelen Memorial services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd, Saturday, May 13, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. for Louis Phelen Waters, 87, who passed away May 7, 2006 in Bakersfield, Ca . Chaplain Gary Bashor will officiate. Mr. Waters was born on September 9, 1918 in Golden, Oklahoma. He worked as an electrician for 55 years and worked out of the I.B.E.W union where he was a member. He worked in the missile program at Edwards Air Force Base and was also a member of Tehachapi Lodge. 313 F. & A.M. Louis was a Veteran of World War II having joined in 1938 a mounted unit. Later he transferred to the Airways Communications Service of the Army Air Corps. Mr. Waters is preceded in death by his granddaughter Denise Waters. He is survived by his wife Marjorie M. Waters of Bakersfield; son Jim E. of Visalia, Ca; daughter Kathy L. Trulock of Portland, Oregon; granddaughters Cheri Dougherty and husband Paul of Visalia, Julie Reed and husband Frank of Visalia, Elizabeth James of Bakersfield, and Barbara Kleiber and husband Mike, of Portland, Oregon; great-grandsons Brent and Ryan Dougherty of Visalia and great grand-daughters Lauren and Allison Reed of Visalia, and Barbara Jean Robinson of Bakersfield.
