All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Forestvale Memorial Park-Oakridge OR Eugene Register Guard 31 Oct 2004 Rosie Webb OAKRIDGE - A memorial service will be Nov. 1 for Rosie Lenora Webb of Oakridge, who died Oct. 28 of unknown causes. She was 67. Webb was born April 8, 1937, in Millerton, Okla., to Jerry and Cora Perkins Thompson. She married Carl Dawson Webb Jr. in Lakeview on July 6, 1955. He died April 7, 1997. She lived in Lakeview and Klamath Falls, before moving to Oakridge in 1971. Webb was employed as an education assistant for the Oakridge School District. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. Webb was a member of the Upper Willamette Piece Makers in Oakridge and the New Hope Baptist Church in Creswell. Survivors include two sons, Rick of Philomath and Glenn of Colorado; a daughter, Teresa Hanna of Port Angeles, Wash.; four brothers, Veo of Medford, William of Lakeview, Edward and Ray, both of Klamath Falls; a sister, Stella Gee of Klamath Falls; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Monday's service will be at 6 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Creswell. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday for a second memorial service that begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oakridge Chapel of The Woods Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at Forestvale Memorial Park in Oakridge. Oakridge Chapel of The Woods Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
