All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Pleasant Hill Cemetery--Hatfield AR CARL ELMER WHISENHUNT 1987 Carl Elmer Whisenhunt, 79, of Brushey Ridge, Okla., died Monday in an Idabel hospital. He was born December 2, 1907 at Brushey Ridge, Okla. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday morning in the Christ Church at Cove with Bro. Gilbert Forrest officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Geyer-Quillin Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bob Lee, Jerry Porter, Guy Harrison, Boyd Smith, Gerald Walker, and Charles Mowdy. Whisenhunt was the son of the late Green Lee Whisenhunt and the late Mrs. Amanda Jane Nichols Whisenhunt and was united in marriage to Miss Myrtle Smith December 25, 1932 at Hatfield. She preceded him in death April 24, 1971. He had lived in the Brushey Ridge community all of his life and was a retired farmer. Survivors are one son, Elmer Lee Whisenhunt, Watson, Okla; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Arce, Hatfield; one brother, A.D.
