All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Pleasant Hill Cemetery--Hatfield AR Mrs. Myrtle Whisenhunt 1971 Funeral service for Mrs. Myrtle Whisenhunt, age 59, of Watson, Okla., was held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Panther Creek Church of Christ at Watson, with Bro. Riley Donica officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Hatfield under the direction of the Geyer-Quillin Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Carl Fairless, Robert Lee, C.W. Fairless, Ray Fairless, Roy Hancock, Jim Brown, Donald McCormick and S. J. Pearl. Mrs. Whisenhunt was born Jan. 15, 1912, at Nelson, Okla., and died April 25 at Mena. She grew to womanhood at Nelson, then moved to Watson, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married Carl Whisenhunt at Mena on Dec. 26, 1932, who survives her. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son Elmer Lee Whisenhunt of Fifty-Six, Ark.; one daughter, Mrs. Tammy Liles of Hatfield; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Smith of Beachton, Okla.; three brothers Homer and Jack Smith, both of Beachton, and Lawrence Smith, GAllup, N.Mex.; five sisters, Mrs. Tima V.
