November 26, 2003

Funeral Services for Marie White, 68, Groves, Texas, were at 5 p.m. Nov.
11 in the Claybar Funeral Home chapel, Bridge City, Texas, with the Rev.
Doug Bray officiating.  Burial was at 3 p.m. Saturday in Holly Creek
Cemetery.

White died Nov. 8 in Groves, Texas.  She was born Aug. 2, 1935, in
Eagletown.  White was a retired waitress.  She was preceded in death by one
daughters-in-law, Audrey Sanders; and by one grandson.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Quentin and Darlene
Sanders, Wister; Clifford Sanders, Bridge City, LA., and Terry and Regina
Sanders, Bridge City, Texas; two daughters, Jaquetta Chen, Detroit, Mich.;
and Genna Greer Barker, Bridge City, Texas; four sisters, Dorothy Lussmyer,
Mildred Brister, Ruth Ann Hale and Louise Tidmore; four brothers, Johnny
White, Lloyd Dale White, Bobby White and Glenn White; 14 grandchildren;
and 17 great-grandchildren.
