J.R. WILLIAMS DIED AT HER HOME IN IDABEL, SUNDAY JUNE 28TH AT AN ADVANCED AGE. Mrs. J.R. Williams, one of Idabel's pioneer citizens, died at 10:30 Sunday morning, June 28th. The funeral services were conducted at the family residence Monday morning at 10:30 by Dr. S Addison McElroy, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Interment was made in the Denison cemetery. The deceased was 70 years of age and had lived a good Christian life. She was loved and respected by all for her kind and charitable deeds. This love was shown by the numerous and beautiful floral offerings. She is survived by her husband and three children, Dr. R.D. Williams, Pete Williams and Mrs. A.E. Nelson, all of whom reside at Idabel, and one brother 80 years old, who was unable to attend the funeral. There are also several grandchildren.
