Obituary: Bud Williamson - McCurtain Co., Oklahoma

Bud Williamson 

Funeral services for Bud Williamson, 76, of Idabel were held at 
Norwood Funeral Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m.

He died in McCurtain Memorial Hospital Thursday and had lived in 
McCurtain County all his life. Born Sept. 26, 1912, in Millerton, he 
was married to Cora Belle Thomas in 1939 at Garvin. He was a self-
employed dairy farmer until 1975.

Survivors include his wife, one son, George Williamson of Idabel and 
seven daughters: Mary Francis Tunnel, Rogersville, Tenn., Wanda 
Jackson and Joyce Endicott both of Idabel, Barbara Richardson, Moore, 
Melva Rogers, Garvin, Kathy McNally, Guthrie, and Margaret Phelps of 
Moody Texas. Also one brother, Jeter Williamson, Fremont, Calif., one 
sister, Irene Ray, Wapanucka. Two half brothers, Mack Williamson, 
Daingerfield, Texas and Ike Williamson of Garvin, and one step-
sister, Ludie Roberts of Millerton.

Rites were conducted by Joe Clardy and burial was in Denison Cemetery 
under direction of Norwood - Funeral Home of Idabel.
