All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Valliant Cemetery--Valliant OK Obituary: Bessie Williamson McCurtain Gazette Idabel, Oklahoma January 2, 1985 WILLIAMSON RITES FRIDAY Funeral services for Bessie Williamson, 78 are set for 2 p.m. Friday in the First Assembly of God Church of Valliant, with Dr. T.C. Burkett, assisted by the Rev. Leland Burkett, officiating. She died Monday (December 31, 1984) in McCurtain Memorial hospital in Idabel. Born Oct. 26, 1906 in Bethel, she had been a lifelong resident of McCurtain County. Her husband, Earnest Tete Williamson, preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1959. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Valliant. Survivors include four daughters, Jane Crosby and Faye Clark, both of Valliant, Ludie Roberts of Garvin and Annie Bledsoe of Eureka, Cal.; two sons, Ike Williamson of Garvin and Mack Williamson of Daingerfield, Eex., five step-children, Bud and Sam Williamson of Idabel; Geter Williamson of Fremont, Cal., Irene Ray of Wapanucka and Inez Humkey of Bakersfield, Cal.,; three brothers, Jess Lewis (her twin) of Altus, Clarence Lewis of Idabel and Tommy Lewis of Wright City; two sisters, Tinsie Bachelor of Altus and Myrtle Hurst of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren and a large number of great and great great grandchildren.
