She was born March 1, 1917, at Hastings, OK. to George A. and Ivy Lee Thomas. Most important to Cora Belle Willliamson was her role as a wife and mother to her children. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Home Demonstration Club, her group call the Sunshine Club and also devoted many hours to the McCurtain County 4-H Club. Cora Belle was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud Williamson; one son, Ernest Willliamson Jr; and one granddaughter, Lacy Lynn Phelps. Survivors, include a son and daughter-in-law, George and Murl Willilamson, Idabel; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Mary Frances and Jimmy Tunnell, Rogersville, Tenn., Wanda Jackson, Idabel; Barbara and Lloyd Richardson, Moore; Melva and Coleman "Doc" Henslee, Broken Bow; Katherine and Mark McNally, Guthrie; and Margaret and James Phelps, Moody, Texas; and two sisters, Joann Punneo, Marlow; and Ellen Thompson, Maryville, Tenn.; one brother, John Grissom, Marlow; 17 Grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), Jan. 15, at Bypass Church of Christ, Idabel. Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery, Idabel.
