Williamson, 69, Garvin, who died Sunday in McCuistion Hospital, Paris, Texas (10-2-1988) Williamson was born Feb. 19, 1919, at Garvin to Emmit and Rosie Williamson. He and Lomas Cowell were married Oct. 19, 1940 at Garvin. An auto mechanic, he had lived in Garvin all of his life, and was peceded in death by a sister, Annie Bell. The Revs. Joe Deavours and Jeff Smith were officiating services, and burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery. Norwood Funeral Home of Idabel was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Lomas Williamson of the home; two sons, Cecil Williamson of Ardmore and Wayne Williamson of Hurst, Texas; two brothers, Walter Williamson and Leon Williamson, both of Sherman, Texas; two sisters, Francis Walker of Bisbee, Ariz., and Viola Whitaker of Garvin; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to McCurtain Archives http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/mccurtain/mccurtai.htm
