All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Denison Cemetery--Idabel OK Obituary: Sam Williamson McCurtain Gazette Idabel, Oklahoma June 19, 1986 RITES SATURDAY FOR WILLIAMSON Funeral services for Sam Williamson, 67, Idabel, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Coffey-Leonard Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. O.C. Satterfield officiating. Williamson died early today (June 19, 1986) in McCurtain Memorial hospital. Born July 23, 1918 at Millerton, he had resided in McCurtain County all of his life. He was a sawmill worker with the Weyerhaeuser Company at Wright City and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He and Omie Jones were married dec. 10, 1938 in Hugo. He was preceded in death by a son, Don T. Williamson, in 1967. In addition to his wife, Omie, of the home, he is survived by three sons, Rayford and Roy Dale Williamson, both of Idabel, and John H. Williamson of Broken Bow; two daughters, Carol Balch of Garvin and Shelia York of Duncan; four brothers, Bud Williamson of Idabel, Geter Williamson of Freemont, Calif., Mack Williamson of Daingerfield, Texas and Ike Williamson of Oak Hill; one stepbrother, Joe Bill Grace of Indio, Calif., six sisters, Irene Ray of Wapanucka, Ludie Roberts of Millerton, Faye Bell Clark of Valliant, Jane Crosby of Wright City, Annie Briscoe of California and Inez Humkey of Bakersfield, Calif., and 13 grandchildren.
