Williston of Wyandotte, died Tuesday, April 14, 1992 at the Baptist Regional Health Center. He was born September 5, 1907 at Eagletown, Indian Territory. His parents were Silas and Melina Thomas Williston. He earned his bachelor's degree at Northeastern State College, in Tahlequah in 1937, and moved to the Miami area to teach school. He also earned a Master's degree during his school teaching years. He had taught school at Fairland; Chilocco Indian School; Yale; Wyandotte; Quapaw; Pomona, Kansas; Webbers Falls; and Commerce. He retired as a school teacher in 1972. Henry was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Seneca, Missouri. He married Mabel Montgomery on November 13, 1938. She survives at the home. Additional survivors include three sons, Ralph Williston of Lamar, Missouri, Rolland Williston of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Rick Williston of Tulsa; two daughters, Melina Williams of Albuquerque, and Sheila Zamora of Corpus Christi; fourteen grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
