JUNE, 14, 1995 WILSON-PG 3 # 928 John "Pete" Wilson, 70, of Garvin died June 8, 1995 in Dallas, Texas. Hewas born June 12, 1924 in Sand springs, Ok. Mr. Wilson was reared in BrokenBow, but had lived in Garvin for the past 15 years. He worked inconstruction for Brown and Root. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Broken Bow. He and Tosca Beavers were married November 14, 1945 in Hochatown. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny "J.W." Wilson in 1988. Survivors include his wife, Tosca Beavers Wilson of Garvin; one son, Tams Wilson of Kenai,Alaska; one brother Al Wilson of Broken Bow; three sisters; Evelyn Cosperof Broken Bow, Helen Defoyd of Tye, Colorado and Freddie Mayfield of Orlando, Florida; and four grandchildren; Joshua Tams Wilson, Rachel Lyn Wilson, Justin Ryder Wilson, and Les Hayes Woods. Funeral services were held Monday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norwood-Leonard Chapel in Broken Bow with Bro. James W. Stout officiating.
