MRS. GEORGE WOODS DIED SOUTH OF TOWN FRIDAY

Mrs. George Woods, aged 65 years, died at the family home, four miles
south of Broken Bow last Friday morning after an illness extending over a
period of five weeks.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr.
Seagraves, and burial was made in the Holly Creek cemetery Sunday morning
at 10:30 o'clock.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her husband, two sons, and four daughters, as
follows:  Mrs. Nell Rodgers, Tonkawa; Mrs. W.A. Roach, Electra, Texas;
Mrs. C.I. Fairchild, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. E.A. Sanders, Corpus Christi,
Texas; Chas. Woods, Oklahoma City, and Tom Woods, of Dutch, East Indies.
All were present at the funeral with the exception of Tom Woods.

Mr. and Mrs. Woods came to this county about two years ago and have made
their home on a farm near this city.  They were highly respected people and
had a large circle of friends and acquaintances who are deeply grieved over
Mrs. Woods death.

The News extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
