Nov. 4, 1926

ELMER WRIGHT WAS KILLED MONDAY NIGHT IN CAR WRECK TWO MILES SOUTH OF 
TOWN: REMAINS SHIPPED TO ARK.

Elmer Wright, of Warren, Ark., but residing in Broken Bow, until his 
death, was instantly killed last Monday night about 10:30, in a car 
wreck two miles south of town on the road leading to Harris school 
house. 

He and two other men, were driving a Chevrolet roadster, when the car 
was overturned, injuring the men slightly but killing Mr. Wright.

The remains were brought to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Hart in 
this city, where the young man made his home.  The Broken Bow Lodge, 
I.O.O.F. took charge of the body.

The remains were shipped to Warren, Ark., Tuesday where the burial 
will be held.

The News joins in extending sympathy to his many friends and 
relatives in their bereavement.
