Peggy Euleda Bledsoe 1936 - 2005

Peggy Euleda Bledsoe (Newton) Aug. 13, 1936 Dec. 28, 2005 Services will be 
held for Peggy Euleda Bledsoe (Newton) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at 
Laurelglen Bible Church, 2801 Ashe Rd., at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Tim Hardy will 
be officiating. Peggy was born in Eufala, Oklahoma. Her family moved to 
Fellows, California where she attended grade school. Peggy graduated from 
Taft High School in 1954. It was there she met her husband of 50 years 
Jack Bledsoe. They lived in Taft where she worked for Richfield Oil and 
Jack owned and operated Jacks Barber Shop. Peggy was preceded in death by 
her parents, Otto and Verna Newton and her sister, Margaret Martin. She is 
survived by her husband, Jack Bledsoe; son, Blake Bledsoe and wife, 
Debbie; daughter, Jennifer Faires and husband, Eddie, all of Bakersfield; 
sister, Helen Murdock and husband, Roy of Virginia; brother, Otto Newton 
Jr. and wife, Kathy of Arizona. Peggy was very proud of her five 
grandchildren and Rylan her only great-grandchild. Please, no flowers. 
Donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
