Brown, 59 years old, well-known Stidham farmer, died at his home in the farming community Tuesday morning following a brief illness. Funeral services for Brown, who was a native of Alabama, were conducted at the Powers Funeral home Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Howard Moore, Eufaula Baptist minister, officiating. Burial was in the local cemetery. Mrs Mary Tierce and Mrs Marie Thomas of Eufaula, Mrs Vernie Marino, Patauluma, Calif. and Mrs Minnie Tierce, Jefferson Ore. (the newspaper actually had the typo in it about 5 daughters and cathrene it look like the line was just printed twice.)
