Cone 1930 - 2005 Glenn E. Cone, Jr., 75, of Haskell, died Friday, April 1, 2005 in Broken Arrow. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 4, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Haskell officiated by Reverend's Jerry Don Abernathy and Tim Turner. Burial will follow in Triplett Cemetery at Texanna, OK, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah. Mr. Cone was born Jan 22, 1930 in Ringgold, TX to Glenn and Rachel (Crowe) Cone. He was united in marriage to Earlene Wooten at Texanna, OK on Feb. 1, 1963. He was a member of the Haskell First Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, and carpenter for Conners State College in Warner . He is survived by his wife, Earlene of the home, a son; Tracy Cone of Haskell, a daughter; Janett Hummingbird of Broken Arrow, a sister Barbara Maye, of Ft. Worth, TX, one grandchild; Taylor Louise Cone of Checotah. Casketbearers for the services will be; Billy Jones, Edward Phillips, Dale Berry, Ronny Morgan, Vance Brinsfield and Brad Kahuhings. Honorary Casketbearers; Andy Walter, Henry Beat, AD.
