All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Muskogee Phoenix April 3, 2005 Section A, Page 4 Helen Crawford 1923 - 2005 On the day of July 14th, 1923, On the day of July 14th, 1923, the Lord blessed the home and lives of Frank and Malissa Moseley Calhoun of Eufaula, OK. He filled their home and lives with the birth of their new daughter. They graced her with the name, Helen. Helen, along with her siblings received their formal education in the Eufaula Public Schools. Later the family moved to Muskogee and made Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, their church home. After competing her education, Helen made her home in Anchorage, Alaska. She became and LPN and worked in various hospitals and medical centers. An injury caused her to retire, so she moved back to Muskogee. She made Old Agency Baptist Church her new church home. Helen will be most remembered as a kind, caring, patient and considerate person. Her smile was like a brilliant light and shined across many pathways. She had a way of uplifting you with kind words and thoughts. She made you feel free from worry and strife. Quietly on March 30th, 2005, our loving Savior took her from suffering to heaven's eternal peace. The family preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and one sister. the family she leaves behind to think of her often include her nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends who really cared for her. Going home services for Helen will be held Monday, April 4th, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Old Agency Baptist church, with Rev. A.H. Jones, pastor, officiating. She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, at Eufaula, OK under the direction of Ragsdale Funeral Center. Visitation will be today from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
